Went to another SXSW. I always like the vibe. Good vibes man, good vibes.
Todd snider played 4 times and we didn't get to see one preformance. One of these days Todd i'll kick your ass.
Couldn't Find the Real World house.
Played "a song for you" down on sixth street. Mary Lou Lord let me borrow her guitar ,her microphone and her amp hooked up to car battery. Made around 8 dollars. Used money for cigarettes.
Saw Bruce robison at the Broken spoke. I think that place used to be a chicken house. It was very short. Short but sweet. Bruce is to tall for the spoke. But those people love to Dance. I don't think they give a shit who is playing.
Buffalo Exchange is a pawn shop. A vintage clothes pawn shop. You give them old clothes and they give you money. That is soo awesome.
Saw Elijah Wood walking down Congress. He was pissed off at someone on his cel phone. Asked him if he had "the precious". He didn't.
Went to Waterloo Records, bought Scott Miller's "thus always to tyrants" and the gram parsons book "hickory wind".
Eli young band has a catchy sound. Kinda like Randy Rogers. Not Kenny Rogers.
Also didn't get to see Bobby Bare Jr and James McMurtry. That sucks.
Walking down the street. "Jones" cream soda bus parked by the curb. No lights on in the bus.People in the bus.Smoking weed in the bus. Cooler outside.Took a jones cream soda out.Pretty good stuff. Never heard of "Jones" before. Cans filled with LSD.
